About the role

Sunglass Hut is a part of EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of eyewear and eyecare products. As a Casual Part-Time Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Build Relationships: Hit sales targets and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Help New and Returning Customers Find Products: Recommend eyewear solutions that meet each customer's needs and preferences.
• Become a Vision Expert: Offer tailored advice and assist customers in finding premium quality eyewear.
• Enhance Skills: Participate in hands-on training and collaborate with experienced professionals to provide top-tier service.
• Collaborate & Contribute: Work closely with your team and leadership to foster a positive, supportive environment.
• Create a Welcoming Store Atmosphere: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
• Foster Inclusion & Respect: Ensure an inclusive and respectful environment for both customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Passion for Customer Service: Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but enthusiasm for helping others and creating great experiences is key.
• Sales Savvy: Thrive in a dynamic environment, engaging customers and driving sales.
• Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented: Comfortable using technology to enhance the customer experience and maintain accuracy with transactions.
• Fashion Forward: A keen interest in eyewear and fashion trends, able to help customers find their perfect look.
• Self-Motivated & Adaptable: Stay driven and resilient, adjusting to fast-paced environments and always seeking opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
