Sales Associate

About the Role

Adhere to and practice the company’s service standards with each customer. Meet both sales and work goals as directed by store management, while following the company’s Policies and Procedures. Lead by example in the accuracy and completeness of your work, contributing to the store’s overall success.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience by adhering to company service standards and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote the company rewards program and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of current sales promotions and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-merchandised.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts involving customers and staff.
• Participate in physical inventories, shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including checking for shoe mates, and handle all POS terminal operations in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and employees at all levels.
• Basic communication (verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Pay

$12.77 - $14.69 Hourly
