Duties And Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and make a connection with customers.
• Asking questions and listening to customer's needs.
• Directing customers to merchandise.
• Informing customers about upcoming events, promotions, and mobile offers.
• Providing premier customer service.
• Cooperating and building positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships.
• Taking accountability for own actions and outcomes.
• Maintaining store appearance.
• Selling cross-sell products and knowing store layout.
• Making suggestions to customers on latest trends and current promotions based on individual needs.
• Upselling products.
• Leveraging product knowledge, staying updated with latest trends, using company tools and technology to confidently provide product information.
• Using a Point-of-Sales system to process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards, and cash handling, including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customers. Completing inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Adhering to assigned work schedule.
• Accurately and completely following through on work assignments.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.
• Experience in retail preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
• Effective communication with customers, peers, and management.
• Communication on the telephone with proper etiquette.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
• Teamwork and initiative without direct supervision.
• Physical demands involving constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two consecutive hours, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Visual abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. in some departments.
• Work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending on location.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
