The Sales Associate at LensCrafters plays a crucial role in setting the standard for quality eye care and eyewear. This position focuses on establishing LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

About the role

  • Cultivate existing customer relationships and build new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
  • Aid patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
  • Participate actively in a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff (Target Host partners).
  • Show pride in the store's appearance and take initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators.
  • Basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to embrace new technology and change with high accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a changing environment.

Qualifications
