Arizona Cannabis Society (AZCS) is a local, family-owned and operated, vertically integrated, seed-to-sale dispensary located in El Mirage, Arizona. Formed in the summer of 2010 as legislation was announced, AZCS started as patient advocates providing access to information and knowledge through an online forums platform with topics based on community, patient support, industry norms, and projected legislation. In the summer of 2013, AZCS opened its doors as Arizona's 6th licensed dispensary. Brands operating under the AZCS license include Hashishans, Highern Chef, FKN Gummies, Bud Bros, and Legends Cannabis Co.

About the role

The role of Sales Associate focuses more on customer service and success than sales. You will be the face of our company to customers and the conduit through which they learn about our products. Comfort as an educator and a passion for connecting customers with the right products to achieve their recreational or wellness goals are essential. You will follow standard operating procedures to maintain a compliant retail experience and take responsibility for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the environment.

Responsibilities

• Records, arranges, and packages patient orders
• Maintains an organized environment and facility appearance
• Provides consistent exceptional service for new and existing customers
• Handles point of sale system entry
• Responds to customer requests for information in a patient and informative way
• Maintains a basic understanding of the products available within the retail location
• Follows best practices established by the store for customer engagement and compliance
• Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
• Builds long-term relationships with customers for referrals and repeat business

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year in a customer service role in a retail or hospitality environment
• Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
• A minimum of a High School diploma
• Intermediate-level math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
• Strong computer-based skills
• Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Personal experience with cannabis

• Bilingual speaking ability
• Analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
• Proven expertise and experience to accurately manage a register
• Experience training new hires in a previous job
• Experience as a “key holder” in a retail environment
• Knowledge of the state’s cannabis regulations
• 5+ years in retail

Pay

$15.15 - $18.00 USD per hour
