Job Summary

The sales associate is a passionate individual who seeks to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for handling day-to-day tasks, welcoming guests and members to the gym, selling memberships and retail items, giving tours of the club, cleaning and being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Membership sales and retention
• Qualifying, informing, inspiring, and converting leads to members
• Giving knowledgeable tours of the club to potential members, highlighting the advantages and benefits of an Anytime Fitness membership
• Understanding the policies and procedures of the membership agreement in order to help new members sign up
• Being knowledgeable of the personal training and classes being offered in order to serve our members better
• Aiding existing members with billing changes, questions or issues
• Engaging with members and guests each time they enter and leave the club
• Working with the owner/manager on social media and marketing content and presentations

Qualifications

A good candidate for the sales associate position is:

• 18 years or older
• Friendly, outgoing, and warm
• Genuine and honest
• Available to work flexible hours [mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends]
• Tech-savvy
• Self-motivated
