Sales Associate AM/PM (Part Time)-Paradies Lagardère-Mesa Gateway Airport

About the role

The Sales Associate is responsible for executing the Mission Statement, which involves providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role may operate on the sales floor or in a support capacity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate selling experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented retail setting
• Ensure a positive customer shopping experience in a well-maintained and friendly environment
• Greet, sell, and thank the customer
• Provide memorable, highly personalized customer service through needs analysis and product recommendations
• Offer customers promotional products and services
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate as necessary
• Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates
• Maintain store appearance with respect to visual merchandising, housekeeping, and maintenance standards
• Efficiently and accurately conduct customer transactions on the POS system
• Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, and transfer transactions on the handheld device
• Complete any required process controls (paperwork, etc.) efficiently and accurately
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Understand and comply with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Passes the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and applicable FAA requirements
• Department of Transportation requirements met
