Sales and Service Technician
About the role
State Systems, Inc. is expanding its Fire Protection Division in Northwest Arkansas and is seeking a motivated Sales/Service Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell fire protection services and products within assigned territory while maintaining sales/service quotas.
- Inspect, service, and install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting.
- Identify new prospects using creative lead generation strategies.
- Present proposals and highlight the advantages of State Systems’ solutions.
- Follow up with potential clients and process work orders promptly.
- Service existing customers and build long-term relationships.
- Complete all reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs., climbing ladders up to 12 ft., and working in various conditions.
- Willingness to work outdoors and handle materials that may be skin or respiratory irritants (MSDS available).
Compensation
Compensation packages reward hard work and results. Estimated first-year earnings: $45,000–$60,000+ (with potential for top performers to earn more).
