About the Role
The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role designed as a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This position primarily focuses on serving customers by assessing their needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services. Successful individuals will learn all aspects of store operations and flex between customer interaction and basic vehicle service tasks as required.
Responsibilities
- Customer service, sales, and issue resolution (75% of role).
- Basic vehicle service tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and fluid maintenance (25% of role).
- Store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and display maintenance (as needed).
- Assist or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development.
- Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid automobile driver’s license.
- Customer service and career growth mindset.
- Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
- Ability to learn and operate store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-year degree or non-traditional education (e.g., training program completion, certification) demonstrating a growth mindset.
- Previous consumer retail sales experience.
- Previous automotive experience (a plus).
- Previous management or supervisory experience (a plus).

Pay
$16.00 - $23.90 per hour.
