About the role
AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, seeks a Sales and Service Supervisor (Assistant Community Manager) to lead the leasing team and enhance the apartment living experience. This role requires 1-3 years of multifamily experience or equivalent, with at least 1 year of supervisory or training experience.
Responsibilities
- Determine community sales goals and coach leasing consultants to achieve them
- Manage and convert prospect leads, providing information on community offerings
- Resolve customer service concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Develop, implement, and monitor programs to increase revenue, control expenses, and improve customer experience
- Support residents during move-in, lease renewal, move-out, and transfer processes
- Update market surveys and stay informed about changes in the competitive market
- Plan and execute resident activities and events to foster positive community connections
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency in administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of multifamily experience or related experience/education in a hotel, retail, or restaurant environment

Pay
Total base pay range: $54,500.00 - $77,500.00
