Sales and Service Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Service Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Mobility Specialist will facilitate the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers.

• Provide optimal operational efficiencies to deliver the best rental car experience.
• Assist customers with creating reservations, processing rentals, and providing clean, safe vehicles.
• Handle post-rental inquiries related to billing and the rental process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while delivering helpful customer service.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, including rental requirements, billing, extensions, and roadside assistance.
• Effectively communicate Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by actively soliciting business and overcoming customer objections.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up: inspect for damage, clean interiors (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum) and exteriors (wash), fill gasoline tanks, and check fluid levels.

• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.
• Stand for long periods of time.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate clearly and proficiently in English (fluency in other languages is a plus).

Pay

$22.00 per hour.
