Sales and Service Specialist

About the role

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, you will facilitate the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience for Lyft and/or Uber drivers. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal operational efficiencies, assisting customers with reservations, processing rentals, and providing clean and safe vehicles. You will also handle post-rental inquiries related to billing and rental processes, answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, and maximize revenue opportunities by actively soliciting business.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with creating rental car reservations, processing rentals, and providing clean and safe vehicles.
• Handle post-rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, including rental requirements, billing, extensions, and roadside assistance.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by overcoming customer objections and actively soliciting business.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up, including checking for damage, cleaning interiors and exteriors, filling gasoline tanks, and checking fluid levels.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while providing helpful customer service.
• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Work outdoors during all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Clear and proficient communication in English (fluency in other languages is a plus).

Pay

$18.00 per hour.
