Responsibilities
- Builds strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and goals.
- Proactively engages with customers to assist with various financial needs, process teller transactions, identify cross-sell opportunities, resolve issues, and educate them on digital banking tools.
- Collaborates with team members to drive branch sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the bank.
- Identifies opportunities to grow banking relationships through branch activities, including calls, transactions, account support, portfolio management, and partner referrals.
- Maintains an elevated customer experience by delivering personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
- Fosters customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions.
- Engages customers with digital platforms to enhance customer interactions and educate them on self-service options.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- Performs teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handles cash and maintains accurate cash drawer balances.
- Affixes custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Safeguards compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
Qualifications
- 12+ Months Experience selling products and/or services.
- 6+ Months Experience in Retail Banking sales, financial services sales or consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new customers, deepening customer relationships and delivering results.
- 6+ Months Demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Sales and Service Banker role.
- District Executive, District Operations Manager and Region President endorsement of performance.
- 6+ Months Customer service experience within a high volume, fast paced and constantly changing environment.
- 6+ Months Cash handling experience.
- Established relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to learn and apply sales techniques to recommend products and services that meet customer needs.
- Experience in cross-selling products and services.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
