About the Role
We are a young, fast-growing, funded startup already working with a large enterprise client, and we are hiring our first dedicated salesperson. This is a ground-floor role. You will not inherit a playbook or wait for marketing to hand you leads. You will find the opportunities, go after them, and help build the sales function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Build and work your own pipeline. Identify targets, find the right decision-makers, and go after them across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- We have a starting list of target organizations.
- Run discovery conversations and qualify real opportunities, not just set appointments.
- Close deals where you are able, with full support from the team when you need it.
- Shape the outreach process, messaging, and sales playbook as we grow. Your feedback directly changes how we operate.
- Help us decide who we hire next and how the department scales.
Requirements
- A self-starter who builds pipeline from scratch and does not need leads handed to them.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine pull toward building something rather than plugging into a machine.
- A strong, persuasive communicator who is confident opening cold conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Resilient, independent, and motivated by ownership and upside.
- Based in Arizona and authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
- Full-cycle or closing experience.
- Experience with CRM tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or VoIP systems.
- Familiarity with NEMT, SaaS, fleet, transportation, or call center industries.
Pay
- Base salary depending on experience.
- Bonuses on qualified opportunities plus recurring commissions on closed sales.
- Closers earn more. The more you own the full cycle, the higher your ceiling.
- On-target earnings scale with performance and closing contribution.
