Since 1886, Whittard of Chelsea has been delighting customers with exceptional tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. In our London stores we create moments of discovery and delight, even during the busiest day. We are looking for a Retail Sales Advisor to join one of our vibrant, high‑footfall London locations. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and the opening period, with a minimum of two days’ availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide confident, high‑quality service to a diverse, international customer base, offering tastings, tailored advice, and a standout experience even during peak times.
• Guide customers through the product range, suggest pairings and bundles to increase basket size.
• Maintain focus and adaptability during high‑traffic periods, balancing tills, restocks, and sampling with urgency and care.
• Collaborate closely with team members, keeping communication clear, energy high, and standards exceptional throughout each shift.
• Execute stock replenishment and uphold visual standards to ensure the store looks great and runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience in a high‑volume, customer‑facing role (retail, hospitality, or similar).
• Great communication skills and a friendly, unflappable manner.
• Ability to work at pace while providing thoughtful, tailored service.
• Confidence handling cash, stock, and till operations.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and key London trading days.
• Multilingual skills or tourism experience are a bonus.

Schedule
