About the role
Employers Options is seeking a Sales & Administrative Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer and order records.
- Update CRM or contact management software (ACT!).
- Maintain tracking logs, receipts, and other operational records and documents.
- Process customer orders, resolve customer concerns, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Create and distribute quarterly email marketing campaigns and assist with maintaining the company's social media presence.
- Help maintain showroom displays and promotional materials.
- Prepare order documentation and supporting materials.
- Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on pending items.
- Research freight options, obtain freight quotes, schedule shipments, and monitor delivery timelines.
- Provide shipping updates, respond to emails, and communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Cook with suppliers and the corporate office regarding order processing.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office technology.
- Basic math, data entry, and document preparation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional customer service and phone etiquette.
- Initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
