ZIS is the execution arm of the Zero Impact Energy platform, focused on delivering EV charging and energy infrastructure projects across California and expanding nationally.

ZIS specializes in full lifecycle project delivery, with proven experience across design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and long-term service. Our team operates as a licensed C-10 electrical contractor with in-house crews and established relationships with utilities, AHJs, and key project stakeholders.

We focus on high-demand infrastructure supporting electrification, including:

  • EV charging infrastructure for commercial, fleet, and public deployments
  • Fleet electrification projects requiring scalable, multi-unit installations
  • Site design, power upgrades, and utility coordination
  • Construction, installation, and commissioning of charging systems
  • Ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and uptime support

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Management (50%)
  • Data Entry (50%)
  • Continuous Process Improvement
  • Meet with various teams to review project milestones, deadlines, and general status updates
  • Support business functions daily for communication, updates, and facilitating submission of rebate applications and documents
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and manage users in applications/systems
  • Develop a strong understanding of the EV charging industry
  • Maintain and create documentation on business processes
  • Constructively participate in the development of operational procedures and technical solutions
  • Connect with external business partners and stakeholders as needed
  • Create itineraries and schedule meetings as needed

Job Qualifications/Skills

  • 1-3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or industry equivalent from an accredited school is a plus
  • Experience supporting a sales team
  • Strong Excel/Smartsheet experience (pivot tables, look-ups, advanced formulas, Smartsheet automation, etc.)
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, Slack, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written(email), and oral communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Confident in their ability to handle assigned projects and show performance in their work
  • Solution-Oriented, capable of problem-solving high-stakes cases with short notice
  • Experience working in a start-up company is a plus

Pay

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
