Job Summary
This position will be mentored by one or more Senior Sales Representative(s). The Account Representative is responsible for managing customer relationships with customers targeted for growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Grow sales with assigned customer base and with new customers.
- Learn and develop knowledge of all SEA products to include acute expertise in all relevant aerospace, military specification and other related industry specifications and products.
- Perform telemarketing efforts on a daily basis to qualify sales opportunities.
- Evaluate sales opportunities; recognize unrequested value-added opportunities; provide literature, samples; coordinates opportunity with partners; and determine quote importance.
- Respond to customer requests and communications regarding product availability.
- Prepare final quotes for customers. Solicit partners for information in order to prepare quotes.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the business is captured and adjust as needed to maximize wins.
- Enter orders for order entry process.
- Maintain and otherwise handle trade secret and proprietary information belonging exclusively to SEA Wire and Cable, Inc.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Experience in sales and/or program management is preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Able to manage day-to-day activities and exercise independence and adaptability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to effectively interact with a variety of personnel at all organizational levels.
- Able to meet prioritized set objectives and goals.
- Possesses basic math skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Strong Power Point presentation skills.
Physical Requirements
Essential physical requirements such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing. Physical effort/lifting up to 10 pounds.
