This position could be located in either Los Angeles or San Francisco.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and effectively promoting our products and services within assigned markets or channels. Markets include retail pharmacies, hospitals, HME/DMEs, and endocrinology offices. Key decision makers within these segments include endocrinologists, pharmacists, diabetic educators, medical assistants, office managers, directors of supply chain, and procurement officers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through market research, cold calling, channel partner engagement, networking, industry tradeshows, and other techniques.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers; understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions.
  • Develop deep product knowledge and effectively communicate features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and leader to develop effective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats by staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using Salesforce.com.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an account management role, preferably in a healthcare or medical device environment.
  • Strong account management, project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to function well in a results-oriented, dynamic environment.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Physical Requirements

This is a field position that may require extensive travel, PC-related work, and office work.
