Responsibilities
- Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation.
- Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions to meet the needs of their property.
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable of your assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives.
- Partner daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information.
- Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services.
- Introduce new technology and associated services to customers, clearly illustrating the value that these products and services offer.
- Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while also delivering on customer requirements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with internal product strategies and competitive market conditions with minimal supervision.
- Prepare estimates and communicate proposals with customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records and files in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and expert support to more junior sales account managers and representatives.
- Collaborate with Field Superintendents and technicians on quality improvement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or minimum of 3 years of industry sales experience.
- Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills with a proven sales track record.
- Ability to empathize, listen, and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Motivated, resilient, and customer-focused mindset with a strong character aligned with Schindler’s values.
- Experience with SAP and a results-driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions.
- Proficient in building and managing client relationships, handling challenging inquiries while ensuring satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation.
- Experienced in negotiating contract terms and developing sales strategies that align with customers’ needs and Schindler values, compliant with all regulations.
- Proficient in closing deals and securing agreements when finalizing contracts.
- Ability to independently identify and pursue sales opportunities, qualifying customers’ needs and introducing new services and technology.
