About the role

We are seeking a Sales Account Executive to join our Lamar team in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role involves bringing innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Visit established Lamar clients and competitors' clients as per a specified time frame
  • Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts
  • Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects and follow up on leads
  • Develop presentation skills and present to clients regularly
  • Develop new product knowledge and selling skills
  • Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans
  • Follow up on all client production orders and solve any issues that arise
  • Manage and maintain organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity

Requirements

  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • College degree preferred
  • Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM experience preferred

  • Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in person
  • Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures

Pay

$50,000 - $75,000 first year, including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability. No commission cap, allowing for unlimited earning potential as you grow your book of business!

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8a - 5p schedule with paid holidays.
