Responsibilities
- Identify and approach new business opportunities
- Maintain & grow successful relationship with customers
- Conduct sales activities required: sales calls per week, new customer visits per week, generate new sales leads, new accounts secured
- Utilize presentations and prepare quotations to customers
- Regularly contact customers to increase volume or market share
- Work closely with operations, overseas agents & vendors to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure customers satisfaction
- Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company
- Analyze sales and profits to generate strategic actions
- Provide customer service, become a problem solver and create solutions for customers
- Any other assignments as directed by the Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years industry outside sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is plus
- Previous international logistics/transportation sales experience highly preferred
- Established presence in the market place preferred
- Must have a proven sales track record in business development
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain solid working relationships with clients and staff
