Salaried GP, Carlisle

About the role

The role of Salaried GP pays up to £11,000 per session though there is development available to a Lead GP role with extra responsibility, allowing progression to a much higher sessional rate (circa £13,000/session).

Responsibilities

• 4-8 sessions per week – to include a Friday ideally
• 10-15-minute face-to-face appointments
• Circa 28-30 patients per day
• Minimal admin thanks to Clinical Pharmacists and efficient admin team
• Salaried GP role initially but open to Lead GP role in future
• To be a caring GP and enjoy working as part of a multi-skilled team
• Below average number of home visits

Requirements

• Qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list

Qualifications

• Accredited Training Practice
• Diverse Multi-Disciplinary Team including ANPs, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses
• Flexible workload with a mix of 10 and 15-minute appointments
• Workload kept as reasonable as possible
