Salaried GP

Supported by an experienced partnership team, this practice offers a well-structured working environment with no home visits and 15-minute appointments as standard. Menlo Park has recruited for this practice over several years, receiving consistently excellent feedback from GPs placed there—two of whom have since become Partners.

Location

The practice is based in Andover, a market town in Hampshire with strong road links and a high quality of life. It is commutable from Salisbury (around 20 minutes), Basingstoke (around 25 minutes), Winchester (around 30 minutes), and Newbury (around 30 minutes).

Responsibilities

• 4 to 5 sessions per week as a Salaried GP
• 13 patients per session, including ‘quick fix’ and minor illness cases (not all complex pathology)
• 15-minute appointments
• Virtually no home visits
• Team approach to on-call – no solo Duty
• No enhanced access or extended hours commitments
• Opportunity to develop specialist interests and take on additional responsibilities

Requirements

• Qualified as a General Practitioner
• Registered with the GMC and UK Performers List

Pay

Dependent on experience, up to £12,000–£12,500 per session.
