Key Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, desserts and side dishes according to standardized recipes and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate ingredient needs to the chef.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with a team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a prep or salad station role.
- A strong passion for food preparation and presentation.
- A solid understanding of food safety and cleanliness practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Salad and Dessert Prep Cook who can prepare fresh salads, desserts, and side dishes with precision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. A minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume restaurants is required.
Compensation
$22-$24/hour
