Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
- Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Auxiliary with training sessions for employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
- Auxiliary with investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
- Auxiliary with maintenance of records of workplace safety incidents and tracking progress on implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Promote safe work behaviors on the production floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Completion of OSHA 30-Hour training (or willing to obtain).
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
- Williness and ability to work across shifts, including weekends as required.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver consistent and effective safety messaging across all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
