Safety Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
• Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Auxiliary with training sessions for employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
• Auxiliary with investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
• Auxiliary with maintenance of records of workplace safety incidents and tracking progress on implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Promote safe work behaviors on the production floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour training (or willing to obtain).
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
• Williness and ability to work across shifts, including weekends as required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver consistent and effective safety messaging across all levels of the organization.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
