Safety Supervisor, ERT - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist in on-site management and systems related to EHS introduction and operation.
• Affirm safety work, pre-operation safety inspection, emergency response training, and internal audit.
• Conduct safety committee meetings and trainings (regular, new, and special).
• Manage MSDS and improve work environment measurements.
• Investigate harmful effects of musculoskeletal diseases.
• Regularly provide EHS trainings and support to all employees.
• Follow up for workers compensation claims with employees and insurance.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Establish, develop, maintain and update filing system.
• Provide administrative support, including filing, updating bulletin boards, updating posters, etc.
• Adhere to the federal and local environmental safety and health policies.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.
• Eye for detail and quality.
• Must be able to communicate effectively within the team.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Absorb and cope with pressure.
• A proactive approach toward various issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
• A high level of work ethic toward improving organizational culture.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
