Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and health of all employees within the facility. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, training staff on safety protocols, and implementing corrective actions to address any identified hazards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Trains employees on safety procedures and best practices.
• Develops and implements safety improvement plans based on inspection findings.
• Coordinates with external safety consultants and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and improve workplace safety culture.
• Experience in developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
