Safety Supervisor

Principal Responsibilities

• Health and Safety facility inspections
• Health and Safety facility audits
• Health and Safety facility training
• Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures implementation
• Perform accident and incident investigation as necessary
• Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees in regards to health and safety matters
• Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping
• Occasional travel to EHS training events
• May be responsible for additional plant operations
• Participates and contributes to company safety program
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Required — High School Diploma or GED; Preferred — Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science
• Experience: 5+ years EHS consulting or facility EHS management in a manufacturing industry preferred
• License/Certification: NA
