Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement critical safety and compliance initiatives
• Manage injury prevention programs
• Oversee Hours of Service compliance
• Conduct accident and injury investigations
• Lead defensive driving and vehicle accident prevention efforts
• Report safety-sensitive issues
• Ensure adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and OSHA workplace safety standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of safety experience in the transportation/trucking industry
• Thorough knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and OSHA workplace safety standards
• Proven success with injury prevention programs
• Experience with Hours of Service regulations
• Experience in accident and injury investigation
• Experience in defensive driving and vehicle accident prevention
• Experience reporting safety-sensitive issues
• Class A or B CDL (preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft software programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for helping keep employees safe
