About the role
Hogan Transportation, a 100-year-old full-service transportation company operating throughout North America, seeks a Safety Supervisor to strengthen employee safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement critical safety and compliance initiatives
- Investigate accidents and injuries
- Lead injury prevention programs
- Ensure adherence to Hours of Service regulations
- Monitor and report safety-sensitive issues
- Promote defensive driving and vehicle accident prevention
Requirements
- 2+ years of safety experience in the transportation/trucking industry
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and OSHA workplace safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Class A or B CDL
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
