Now Hiring a Transportation Safey Supervisor in Menands, NY

Starting Pay Rate: $27.00 hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift

Field Safety Supervisor Responsibilities

• Makes sure drivers complete pre and post trip inspections and address equipment issues.
• Checks drivers for readiness before each route.
• Visits drivers during IPP Safety contacts to correct safety violations.
• Dispatches and drives routes as necessary.
• Assists with driver interviews.
• Maintains on-time performance records.

Field Safety Supervisor Experience and Skills Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience dealing with collision and injury claims a plus
• Prior School Bus Driver experience preferred
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical
