Safety Specialist | Lawrenceville, NJ

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional to support a commercial construction project in Lawrenceville, NJ. This role will provide on-site safety oversight, conduct daily safety observations and inspections, and help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Critical Safety Observations (CSOs)
• Complete site inspection checklists and document findings
• Prepare and submit daily safety reports
• Conduct routine safety inspections and field observations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
• Coach contractors and field personnel on safe work practices
• Assist with hazard identification and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety documentation

Requirements

• OSHA 30 required
• Previous commercial or industrial construction safety experience preferred
• Knowledge of building construction, aerial lifts, ladders, and basic electrical safety
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Pay

Pay Range: $85,000–95,000
