Safety Specialist
Position Summary
Fosters, directly and indirectly, by action, example and training, a comprehensive safety program throughout the Portland Large Parts Campus. Monitors potential health and safety conditions of the workplace; identifies problems, recommends solutions, and ensures that the ongoing safety system is corrected to incorporate the changes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe work environment by monitoring potential health and safety conditions of the workplace.
- Identifies problems related to health and safety and recommends solutions.
- Safeguards the ongoing safety system by ensuring corrections are made to incorporate identified changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
