Safety Site Manager

About the role

The Site Safety Manager at Helix Electric is responsible for promoting and supporting the company's safety culture and process, providing leadership and direction to job sites, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Willing to embrace Helix's safety culture
• Support incident investigation process, site audits, and subcontractor EH&S compliance
• Avoids settling for good enough, upholding the company's commitment to empowering people and powering projects
• Assists in the identification of safety-related training needs and conducts training
• Assists site management and supervision with close site support
• Assists in medical case management
• Affirms training completions and other safety-related documentation
• Reviews reports for trends and makes recommendations for protocol adjustments

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Engineering preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
