Safety Services Field Technician
Safety Orientation
Schedule and conduct safety orientation for all OTIC projects.
Inspections and Audits
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of OTIC job sites and active construction projects.
Monitoring Contractor Activities
Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Identifying Hazards and Recommendations
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Preparing Reports and Documentation
Prepare inspection reports, document findings, and track follow-up actions.
Training Programs
Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Communication and Support
Maintain consistent communication with project and OTIC Maintenance teams to support safe work practices. Provide on-site safety support and guidance to Maintenance, Engineering, and Construction personnel.
Incident Investigations
Participate in incident investigations and assist in developing preventive measures.
Culture Promotion
Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and facilities.
Field Operations Support
Support OTIC field operations for major incidents or any other situation deemed as critical.
Qualifications
- Experience conducting safety audits or inspections.
- Familiarity with infrastructure or roadway construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of safety training methods and documentation.
- Ability to work outdoors in severe weather conditions.
- Ability to walk job sites, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.

Supplemental Information
- Unusual Working Conditions: Primarily field-based role (85–90% of time spent on job sites), frequent interaction with employees, contractors, and project stakeholders, exposure to active construction and maintenance environments, must be able to drive the entire length of the Turnpike.
