Safety Senior Specialist

Role Overview: The Safety Sr. Specialist applies scientific and practical knowledge to design, innovate, and enhance safety systems, processes, equipment, and tools. They aim to improve safety characteristics aligned with daily operations, new models, and innovation efforts to achieve safety excellence and promote a safety culture. Key Responsibilities Lead department improvement projects and plant themes.Cycle PDCA proactively to reduce injuries and hazards, ensuring continuous safety improvements.Support plant and department leaders, safety advocates, and committees to foster a high safety performance culture.Interpret and apply safety management policies, participate in policy PDCA, and document complex safety activities like risk assessments and ergonomic studies.Present and report safety activities, analyze data, and develop technical expertise and professional skills. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Health Sciences, or related field.At least 2 years of safety or manufacturing experience.Professional certifications such as Safety Professional or Occupational Hygiene Technician are preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of safety regulations, root cause analysis, and safety management systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret business data and reports. Working Conditions: Open office and manufacturing environments, with possible overtime, shift work, minimal travel, and the ability to perform production line tasks.
