Responsibilities
- Patrols all areas of the property and assists owner/guests with room access.
- Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.
- Locks property entrances when required and conducts daily physical hazard inspections.
- Responds to accidents, contacts EMS, or administers first aid/CPR as required.
- Assists owner/guests/associates during emergency situations and notifies appropriate individuals in the event of incidents.
- Defuses disturbances involving owners, guests, or associates and calls for outside assistance if necessary.
- Completes incident reports to document all Loss Prevention-related incidents and handles interruptions and complaints.
- Resolves safety hazard situations and escorts unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting operations.
- Reports to scenes of vehicle accidents or thefts and calls for assistance using proper code responses.
- Completes a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report and maintains confidentiality of all reports/documents.
- Conducts investigations, gathers evidence, and interviews relevant parties.
- Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager and completes safety training and certifications.
- Follows all company policies and procedures, ensures professional appearance, and protects company assets.
- Welcomes and acknowledges owners/guests according to company standards, assists individuals with disabilities, and addresses service needs.
- Speaks professionally, prepares accurate written documents, and answers telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develops positive working relationships, supports team goals, and listens to concerns of other associates.
- Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods and moves, lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls objects up to 10 pounds.
- Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.
- Must have a valid Hawaii State Guard Card.
- Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
