Responsibilities
- Patrols all areas of the property and assists owners/guests with room access
- Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
- Locks property entrances when required and conducts daily physical hazard inspections
- Responds to accidents, contacts EMS, or administers first aid/CPR as required
- Assists owners/guests/associates during emergency situations and notifies appropriate individuals of incidents
- Defuses disturbances involving owners/guests/associates and calls for outside assistance if necessary
- Completes incident reports for all Loss Prevention-related incidents
- Handles interruptions and complaints, resolves safety hazards, and escorts unwelcome persons from the property
- Reports to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and calls for assistance using proper code responses
- Completes Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
- Maintains confidentiality of all Loss Prevention and property reports/documents
- Conducts investigations, gathers evidence, and interviews relevant parties
- Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager and completes safety training and certifications
- Follows all company policies and procedures, maintains professional appearance, and protects company assets
- Welcomes and acknowledges owners/guests according to company standards, addresses service needs, and assists individuals with disabilities
- Communicates clearly and professionally, prepares accurate written documents, and answers telephones appropriately
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships, supports team goals, and listens to concerns of other associates
- Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods or entire work shifts
- Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
