Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests, members, team members, patrons, and visitors while providing professional and courteous service.
- Protect and care for the assets of Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Spa.
- Adhere to office policies set forth by security management.
- Assist guests with room access according to hotel standards.
- Maintain continual surveillance of resort areas, bordering property, and CCTV systems.
- Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
- Respond to all incidents, emergencies, medical situations, security issues, and guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Complete incident reports accurately.
- Control all keys within established guidelines.
- Inspect packages and team member bags at entrances/exits or parking areas.
- Maintain awareness of suspicious persons and escort them off the property if necessary.
- Conduct rounds throughout the resort, focusing on unsecure areas.
- Receive and process lost and found items per established procedures.
- Respond to all guest requests immediately.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.
Requirements
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment.
- First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, or SALTO is a plus.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a luxury resort or equivalent.
- Able to communicate effectively in English; a second language is a plus.
- Able to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and perform multiple tasks.
- Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma.
