Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of all guests, members, team members, patrons, and visitors while providing professional and courteous service.
• Protect and care for the assets of Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Spa.
• Adhere to office policies set forth by security management.
• Assist guests with room access according to hotel standards.
• Maintain continual surveillance of resort areas, bordering property, and CCTV systems.
• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Respond to all incidents, emergencies, medical situations, security issues, and guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Complete incident reports accurately.
• Control all keys within established guidelines.
• Inspect packages and team member bags at entrances/exits or parking areas.
• Maintain awareness of suspicious persons and escort them off the property if necessary.
• Conduct rounds throughout the resort, focusing on unsecure areas.
• Receive and process lost and found items per established procedures.
• Respond to all guest requests immediately.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Requirements

• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, or SALTO is a plus.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a luxury resort or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; a second language is a plus.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and perform multiple tasks.
• Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma.
