Safety Security Officer II – Legacy Emanuel Medical Center – Portland, Oregon

Responsibilities

Protect patients, visitors, staff and property while providing courteous assistance and documenting incidents.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of relevant security, corrections, military, first-responder or behavioral-health/ER experience, or one year as a Legacy Associate Officer
• Two years of public-contact/customer-service experience
• Qualifying driver’s license
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS and DPSST temporary or full unarmed certification required within 14 days
• Full DPSST certification and Legacy de-escalation training required within 120 days
• Legacy physical-control training required

Pay

Base pay: $24.60–35.17 per hour; non-union.

• Evenings differential: $2.50 per hour
• Nights differential: $4.30 per hour
• Weekends differential: $3.00 per hour
• 10% on-call differential applies

Schedule

On-call with a variable schedule. Minimum shift availability applies.
