Job Duties
- Monitor the day-to-day activities of a therapeutic community.
- Support behavioral interventions to promote therapeutic progress.
- Affirm unit rules, policies, and procedures.
- Perform room inspections and document resident behaviors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to operate automated systems and personal computers.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Interpret and apply basic policies and procedures.
- Work independently, prioritize tasks, organize work, and manage multiple projects.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of physical control methods, first aid, radio communications, and rules/regulations.
- Successfully complete certifications and orientation.
- Drive a 15-passenger security van as directed by supervisor.
Additional Considerations
- An associate degree in Human Service is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral disorders and/or forensic environments is preferred.
