Safety, Risk & Compliance Manager
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID.
We must preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. So we need to strip out the EEO paragraph, Drug-Free Workplace, etc. Also remove "Please note this job description is not designed to cover..." maybe that's boilerplate? It's a disclaimer; could be considered boilerplate but it's part of description. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The disclaimer may be considered legal boilerplate; but it's not EEO. Might be safe to keep? It's a generic statement about duties may change. Might be considered boilerplate but not explicitly listed. Safer to keep? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The disclaimer is legal; could be considered legal boilerplate. I'd remove it to be safe. Also remove Drug-Free Workplace and EEO paragraphs.
We need to keep substantive content: About Mexcor paragraph, Job Description intro, Mexcor Company Values (list of values), Duties And Responsibilities (with sub-sections: DOT, Transportation & Fleet Compliance; OSHA & Facility Safety; Safety Programs, Training & Performance; Incident Investigation & Corrective Action; Auditing & Multi-State Regulatory Compliance; Systems, Reporting & Leadership). Then BEHAVIOR & COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS (list of expectations). Then COMPETENCIES (list). Then Key Performance Indicators (list). Also mention "We have a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits for full-time employees." This is a sentence about benefits but not specific; we should not create Benefits section because no specific benefits listed. Could include that sentence in a
under maybe a generic section? But we should not create a section unless posting has real, specific content for it. Since it's vague, we should not create a Benefits section. Could we include that sentence in the About Mexcor or Job Description? It appears after Mexcor seeks a Safety... "We have a competitive compensation package..." That's a statement about compensation/benefits. Since we cannot create Pay/Benefits sections, we could embed that sentence in a
under Job Description maybe. But the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could add a
after the Job Description heading? Actually we have no heading for compensation; we could just include that sentence as a paragraph under Job Description (maybe after the introductory paragraph). However we must not invent headings. So we can just add a
containing that sentence within the Job Description section (maybe after the intro). But we need to decide structure: We'll have sections: About Mexcor (maybe as
About Mexcor), Job Description (Job Description), Mexcor Company Values (Mexcor Company Values), Duties And Responsibilities (Duties And Responsibilities), BEHAVIOR & COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS (BEHAVIOR & COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS), COMPETENCIES (COMPETENCIES), Key Performance Indicators (Key Performance Indicators). Within each, we need to format content appropriately: prose in
, lists in
- .
We need to preserve all substantive information: So we need to keep the bullet points under each duty section. They are currently in paragraphs with line breaks. We'll convert each bullet line to
- . Ensure we keep the bold headings like "DOT, Transportation & Fleet Compliance" etc. Those are subheadings within duties; we could keep them as or just plain text. Since we only have
for section headings, we can keep subheadings as or just plain text. The instruction didn't forbid other tags. We'll just keep them as plain text maybe with line break.
We need to remove duplicated lines: There's some duplication? Not obvious.
