Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze data, documentation, and correspondence to support compliance with safety regulations and health and safety management system requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify noncompliance with Company standards, processes, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and ergonomic reviews and assist in identifying effective corrective actions.
  • Communicate findings, analyses, and recommendations to relevant work groups to promote awareness and support any required actions.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and analyses of products, processes, packaging, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
  • Perform safety and ergonomic risk assessments on new or relocated equipment to identify potential ergonomic risks.
  • Deliver ergonomic training to supervisors, operators, and employees.
  • Document corrective actions and improvement plans designed to enhance workplace ergonomics and safety.
  • Support ongoing safety and ergonomics initiatives to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Degree or certificate in Safety, Ergonomics, or a related safety field. Engineering or other technical education will also be considered.
  • Experience Requirements: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates are welcome.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Ability to analyze information, interpret regulations, and support compliance-related activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to conduct audits, assessments, and documentation activities. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively under general supervision.
  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of workplace safety principles and ergonomics practices. Experience conducting safety or ergonomic assessments through educational coursework, internships, or related training. Technical or engineering-related educational background.

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Payrate: $30.34 - $30.34/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
