Safety Officer

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 38 weeks

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students and staff
• Build positive relationships with student body, staff, and parent/guardians
• Enforce the Student Code of Conduct
• Patrol interior and exterior of facility
• Assist administration/staff with daily needs
• Perform necessary report writing/documentation duties
• Available to work various events in the evening and on weekends
• Ability to work in an economically, culturally, and racially diverse environment
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Performs other related tasks as designated by the Director of Safety

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate
• Minimum of two years of college-level Criminal Justice courses or related work experience preferred
• Public relations experience
