SAFETY OFFICER

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety standards
• Train employees on safety practices and emergency procedures
• Maintain safety records and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian safety regulations and standards
• Strong communication and training skills
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
