What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or related degree preferred
- Certification of CSP, ASP, GSP, or CHST desired
- 2 years experience in construction industry, project leadership and/or safety related experience; internship may qualify

Responsibilities
- Affords, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations including OSHA and DOT as required.
- Plans and implements training for employees in work site safety practices, rain-day safety training and coordinates any specialized safety training and/or certifications for the employees.
- Performs unannounced/random safety audits and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
- Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or related degree preferred
Certification of CSP, ASP, GSP, or CHST desired
