About the role

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines in heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Train employees on safety procedures and best practices
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management in heavy civil construction
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$70,000 - $90,000 annually
