Safety Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Manager with a background in heavy civil construction to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to help lead and strengthen the safety program and culture of a growing heavy civil contractor. The Safety Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving DCS Contracting's safety program while reinforcing a culture that helps our employees work safely and return home to their loved ones every day. This role works closely with field leadership and senior management and requires strong communication, coordination, organization, integrity, and sound judgment. Success in this role requires the ability to positively influence and hold others accountable while building strong working relationships with field leaders and project teams. What Success Looks Like This is a highly visible, hands-on role with significant impact across the company. As DCS Contracting's Safety Manager, you will serve as the primary safety leader and partner to our field operations teams. This is currently a department of one, which means you'll own all aspects of the safety program, from strategic planning and policy development to field support, training, compliance, and day-to-day execution.
