About the role
The Parking Spot is the leading near-airport parking company at over 25 airports and is now hiring a Safety Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Design and implement safety programs and procedures to reduce accidents and claims for the Company
- Lead the continuous improvement of Origami, our new Company-wide EHS software system
- Analyze all accident/injury/incident reporting and help perform investigations to identify cause and possible preventive measures for future work of a similar nature
- Develop and track safety-related KPIs to identify trends, drive accountability and promote a culture of safety
- Maintain the Company’s safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
- Handle all OSHA related issues such as inspections, yearly reports, job site posters, citations, hearings, etc.
- Compile safety KPI tracking for management. Produce other safety reports as needed
- Make corrective action recommendations to upper management concerning safety and health issues that may affect the Company
- Oversee comprehensive casualty claims programs including general liability, auto, property, and workers' compensation—by directing investigations, establishing liability, assessing financial exposure, and leveraging claims data to optimize employer modification rates
- Prepare, maintain and submit all records and reports required by the Company, OSHA and any other regulatory agencies, i.e. OSHA 300 log and injury records
- Plan, monitor and control safety-related expenditures with the approved budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management, safety engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in safety, EHS or a closely related field
- Prior experience administering an EHS software system (Origami Risk, Velocity EHS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including experience developing reports, tracking KPIs, and using data to drive decisions
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, support change, and promote best practices across teams
- Keep up to date on regulatory and technological developments, industry trends, and creative solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Excel skills or any similar software for KPI reporting
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required by situational circumstances

Pay
Salary Range: $100000 per year - $115000 per year
